Religion and Boundaries (Borders) are the greatest achievements of colonialism in Africa.
These
two have us unconsciously subservient to Myths, whose origins we can
not prove, and the truth or deceit about which we resolved never to
question.
Implicitly,
they also have us consciously disconnected from the heritage that once
put us atop the human race; and still can, if we recollect and embrace
our past.
They will creep into our midst effortlessly, rendering us asunder even on matters you think (and know) are obvious!
Slave
trade, Western Education, finance, military and technological
advancements were just a means to an end; The imperialism that we live
today!
